Documentation makes solutions reliable
DBI has a long history of working with QMS. With our strong focus on the automotive industry, it was therefore natural that we became the world’s first manufacturer of protective solutions to become ISO/TS 16949 certified, building on our QS9000 experience.
The ISO/TS 16949 certification is a guarantee that we can develop, manufacture and supply protective solutions that fulfill the requirements specified by the IATF and the automotive industry, but also largely adopted in the machine and engineering industry. Today DBI is globally certified and audited by the external auditors DNV, and has received several certificates for our quality, energy and environmental management system - a system that meets the requirements of the ISO 9001:2008, ISO/TS 16949:2009, ISO5001:2011 and ISO 14001:2004 standards.
The ISO/TS16949 is an ISO technical specification aimed at the development of a quality management system that provides for continual improvement, emphasizing defect prevention.
The ISO 9000 family of standards relates to quality management systems and is designed to help organizations ensure they meet the needs of customers and other stakeholders
The ISO 14000 environmental management standards exist to help organizations minimize how their operations negatively affect the environment.
ISO 50001: 2011
The ISO 50001 energy management standards exist to help organizations using energy efficiently as well as helping to conserve resources and tackle climate change.
